What-If Invested offers a set of investment analytical tools that let you see what a historical investment would actually be worth today, compared to leaving the same money in a savings account.
Pick an amount, a start date, and an end date, and choose what you want to compare — the S&P 500, an individual ETF, a specific stock, a crypto, two investments head-to-head, or a blended portfolio of all three. The calculator uses real historical closing prices to show you what actually happened, not a projection or estimate.
Where the data comes from
Historical closing prices are sourced from public market financial data. Every result you see reflects genuine recorded market data for the exact dates you select.
